Howard Miller School Clock

This type of clock is commonly called a “School Clock” or “Schoolhouse Clock” because the style was prevalent in the one room school houses that dotted the landscape in the early 1900‘s.

This particular clock is interesting because the cover glass hinges up instead of the usual side hinge displayed in most models. It also features a Westminster chime rather than simply the time component that is common.
