Seth Thomas Metronome
I took on this project in early 2012. I wanted a wood Metronome that somewhat matched our piano. I found this one on ebay. The finish was faded and damaged and the cover didn't match the rest of the unit.
After stripping and refinishing the case I cleaned and oiled the mechanism (which is basically a simple clock.
The result isn't perfect, but is much better than what I started with and matches reasonably well.
